If you enjoy movies such as "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and "House of Flying Daggers", you will love this original martial-arts-and-sorcery tale of love and honor, and the quest for a very special sword. The story transports you to a mythical Eastern parallel universe called Celestia. Celestian twins, Tommy and Lena, are hidden and raised on Earth to protect them from dangers in their homeland. The story tells of their adventure upon returning to Celestia – an adventure that combines intrigue, plot twists, power struggles, love tangles, dazzling martial arts and a very wise old monk.

Along the way, they learn that it isn’t easy to tell friend from foe. Finding out the real killer of their parents is more complicated than it looks. And the heavenly sword is more than just a sword. It contains an ancient secret that, if fallen in the wrong hands, can have repercussions far beyond Celestia.

The Celestian Twins Quest for the Heavenly Sword An Asian Martial Arts and Sorcery Fantasy Novel edition by Susan Tan Children eBooks

This is a fun novel. It's easy to read and feels exactly like a Wuxia novel. The first part might throw you off because it takes place in the U.S. and Mexico, but that's just the intro. It very quickly moves to Celestia, which is basically a Wuxia version of ancient China.

The story definitely draws you in. It has a lot of human interest. But I'm not going to spoil it by talking about it.

There really aren't any English language Wuxia novels, which I think is a shame. This one definitely fills that gap.

There are a lot of misspellings, and references that do not make sense. But I love the story of the twins.
